Episode 8: Modern Georgia with Dariko Kholodilina 🇬🇪🍷

You know I love to have people on my podcast, who are passionate about the topic we are discussing 😉 So when I was thinking about an episode about Georgia I wanted to talk to somebody who’s based in Georgia, drinks and breathes this beautiful country ❤️ Being based in the country was not the only criteria, as I always aim high, and I am in luck that Dariko @dariko.drinks.wine was open to have this chat. Dariko is an excellent communicator (and IWSC agrees with me having selected her as an Emerging Talent in wine communication) and has great sense of humour (check latest her reel on being a tourist with a bottle of Saperavi in a summer Tbilisi 😅), as well as being very curious and knowledgeable not only about Georgian wine, but wine overall 🤩

We have talked with Dariko about some milestones of Georgian history that made it a wine producing country it is now, obviously, we couldn’t skip speaking about qvevri and different grape varieties, and, as an emerging tradition, Dariko gives you her pick of the wines for these summer weeks among many other things 🥂🍷 You can follow Dariko on different platforms and enjoy her tips on wine and travel 😉
