Your
Communication
Strategy
A communication strategy includes the overall plan for delivering key messages to a target audience in order to achieve specific objectives.
You communicate with your consumer before you both even realise they are your consumer, so make this as efficient as possible. First impression still matters and captures the attention.
Your consumers stay with you if your communication looks great, embodies your values and resonates with their beliefs and needs.

Goals, Target Audience, Key messages
As the basis of your communication strategy you need to identify the desired outcomes, such as raising awareness or influencing behaviour, the specific groups or demographics you want to reach and the core messages you want to communicate.

Channels & Tactics
The mediums or platforms used to deliver the messages (e.g., social media, email, PR, etc.) and specific actions or campaigns to implement the strategy. After you've identified your goals and your customer, you need to understand how you are going to 'talk' to them. That's usually the most fun and creative part of the communication strategy!

Timeline & evaluation
When and how often communication efforts will occur as well as the methods for measuring the effectiveness of the strategy (KPIs, metrics).
Maybe not the most exciting part, but aside from creativity and fun, your finance should also confirm the effectiveness of your communication strategy, do don't forget about this important part! #ROIrocks
